Why We’re Hiring for This Position
MakeStar hosts events across various cities worldwide where fans can meet K-pop artists in person. As a result, we are looking for an intern to support commerce operations, including registering event products on the MakeStar platform and launching sales. We are seeking someone with a strong sense of responsibility who can contribute to delivering high-quality service operations.
About the Team
Business Operations Team 2 is responsible for registering and launching product pages for K-pop events (such as fan signings, fan meetings, video calls, and lucky draw events) held across multiple cities domestically and internationally. The team also handles multilingual translations to provide a user-friendly commerce environment for global fans. It is a global team composed of members from diverse nationalities. (The primary working language is Korean.)
What You’ll Do
Translate sales pages for K-pop events into English and perform English proofreading
Support admin registration of product pages and sales launch processes
Create SKU information and assist with product-SKU matching for fulfillment
Support uploading and managing event announcements on MakeStar’s social media channels
Who We’re Looking For
Native-level English speaker with strong translation and proofreading skills
Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality work
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in completing tasks
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
For foreign applicants: eligibility to work in Korea (D-10, E-7, F-2, F-4 visas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interest in entertainment and K-pop
Experience in e-commerce, online shopping, or commerce-related services
Business-level Korean proficiency (working language is Korean)
