Are you a fan of slow-burn romances, captivating tropes, and the world of BL (Boys' Love)? We are looking for a creative and empathetic Community Manager to lead and grow our player community for our upcoming BL story game. You will be the "voice" of our brand, bridging the gap between our development team and our passionate global fans.
[Key Responsibilities]
- Platform Management: Build and moderate active communities on Reddit (r/boyslove), X (Twitter), and TikTok
- Content Creation: Design and execute engaging social media campaigns, including memes, character polls, and "sneak peeks" to drive pre-registration and retention
- Safe Space Cultivation: Establish and enforce community guidelines to ensure a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for our LGBTQ+ and ally fanbase
- Feedback Loop: Monitor player sentiment, gather bug reports, and translate community needs into actionable insights for the product and writing teams
- Event Hosting: Organize and host digital events such as Q&A sessions, fan-art contests, and giveaway campaigns
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of BL-specific trends (danmei, manhwa, tropes) and viral short-form content styles [Requirements (Must-Haves)]
- Native-level English with excellent copywriting skills (Ability to write in a "fandom-friendly" tone)
- Deep Passion for BL: Strong understanding of BL tropes (e.g., Alpha/Omega, Enemies to Lovers) and the nuances of the genre’s community
- Platform Mastery: Proven experience managing and growing TikTok/X accounts
- Empathy & Diplomacy: Ability to handle sensitive topics and community drama with a calm and professional demeanor
[Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)]
- Experience in the gaming, webtoon, or web-novel industry
- Proven track record of building/growing Reddit Karma (High-karma account holders or experienced in subreddit growth)
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.) for social content
- Proficiency in Korean is a major plus (to communicate with the HQ development team)
